In 2005, I was just a young man with a dream, playing in a hardcore band called Million Dead. We toured relentlessly, living out of a van and sleeping on floors, all for the love of music. Our last gig together was at the Joiners Arms in Southampton, where we simply listed our tour dates with the words "Get a job" scrawled across them. It was a deflating moment, but one that would ultimately lead to a new beginning. Fast forward to 2012, and I found myself headlining a sold-out gig at Wembley Arena with my band The Sleeping Souls.
